Compare products

Shows the products a buyer ticked "Compare" on, side by side: prices, stock, codes and specifications. Pick which rows to show.

Where to find it

In the theme editor, Add section › Compare products. The theme starts with it on: Page template "compare".

Settings

Setting Choices Shows when What it does
Density Follow theme · Compact · Normal · Spacious Always Space, columns and image shape in this section. Follow theme uses Density in Theme settings › Layout.
Text size Default · Smaller · Standard · Larger Always Makes this section's text and title smaller or larger than its Density sets.
Color scheme Always

Buyers choose the products with the Compare checkbox on collection cards (turn it on in the collection page settings). This page shows up to four side by side.

Before you start

  1. Create a page called Compare with the handle compare, and give it the page.compare template. See Pages and templates.
  2. In the Collection section, turn on Show compare.
  3. Specifications come from product metafields; see Metafields.
