Pages and templates
A page holds text you write: About, Shipping, Terms. A template decides how a page looks. Some features of this theme live on their own template, so they need a page that uses it.
Create a page
- In Shopify admin, open Online Store › Pages › Add page.
- Give it a title and, if you want, some text.
- On the right, under Theme template, choose the template from the table below.
- Check the page's address under Search engine listing › URL handle. Some features look for a page with an exact handle.
- Save, then add the page to a menu (Menus).

In the theme editor, a page template that needs a particular handle shows you a short note saying so. Visitors never see that note.
