Menus
Menus are lists of links. The theme uses them for the header's main menu, the All products catalog, the top strip, footer columns, the collection page's category menu and the help centre's side menu. You build every menu in the same place, then pick it in the theme editor.
Build a menu
- In Shopify admin, open Online Store › Navigation.
- Choose Add menu, give it a name you will recognise ("Footer – Company"), then Add menu item for each link: a name and what it links to (a page, a collection, a product, a blog or any web address).
- To nest an item under another, drag it slightly to the right under its parent. A nested item becomes a sub-link: a drop-down in the header, a group in the help centre.
- Save menu.
- In the theme editor, open the section (Header, Footer, Collection, Help page) and pick the menu in its menu setting.

How the theme reads each menu
| Where | Setting | What it expects |
|---|---|---|
| Header | Main menu | Your main links. An item with sub-items opens a drop-down. |
| Header | All products menu | Optional: a menu of collections. Two or three levels deep. Empty uses the main menu. |
| Header | Top strip menu | A few small links: About, Contact, Help. |
| Footer | Links column | The menu's top-level items become the column. |
| Footer | Legal links | Privacy, Terms, Refunds. |
| Collection | Category menu | A menu of collections; the one being viewed opens. |
| Help page | Help menu | Two levels: groups, then the help pages in each. Use # as a group's link for a plain heading. |
| Page, Blog, Article | Side menu | Optional: a menu shown beside the page. |
