Hero

The large band at the top of the home page: one to five slides, each with an image, a headline, a line and up to two buttons. Turn slides off to show just the first one, still.

Where to find it

In the theme editor, Add section › Hero banner. The theme starts with it on: Home page.

Settings

Setting	Choices	Shows when	What it does
Density	Follow theme · Compact · Normal · Spacious	Always	Space, columns and image shape in this section. Follow theme uses Density in Theme settings › Layout.
Text size	Default · Smaller · Standard · Larger	Always	Makes this section's text and title smaller or larger than its Density sets.
Slides	Show all slides · First slide only	Always	Turning slides off shows only the first one and hides the dots. Your other slides are kept.
Background	Brand band · Color scheme	Always	The band's color. Slides with an image show it over this color; slides without one show the color alone.
Slide controls	Dots and arrows · Dots only · Arrows only	Slides is Show all slides	The pause control always shows while slides advance on their own.
Advance slides automatically	On · Off	Slides is Show all slides	Pauses on hover, on focus and in background tabs. Off for visitors who reduce motion.
Seconds per slide		Slides is Show all slides and Advance slides automatically is on
Text color over images	White · Black	Always	Applies while a slide with an image is shown. Slides without an image use the background's own text color.
Color scheme		Background is Color scheme
